Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account basics. If you sign up on the website: your name, email address and a one-way hash of your password, your timezone and report preferences. If you use Telegram: your Telegram id, username and first name. We keep a session cookie so you stay signed in; we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
• Website monitoring data for the sites you add: public pages, SSL, DNS and performance results, and the issues we find. We only access what any visitor can see.
• Instant scans you run without an account: the address you scan and its results are kept for a few minutes so you can see them, then discarded.
• Optional visitor analytics if you install our snippet on your site: aggregate counts (visits, pageviews, sources, device, browser, approximate country from the browser's timezone, conversions). We set no cookies and store no IP addresses or user-agents. A one-way hash that changes daily is used only to avoid double counting and is deleted after three days.
• Google Search Console data if you connect it: search clicks, impressions, average position, queries, pages and indexing status for your own property. Access is read-only (webmasters.readonly); the Google refresh token is stored encrypted and you can disconnect at any time, which also revokes access at Google.
• Payments. We receive confirmation of payment from our payment providers (NOWPayments, Paystack or Telegram), never card or wallet secrets.
• Email. We send transactional email only: confirmation and password reset links, alerts and daily reports you have turned on, and account notices such as plan expiry. You can turn alert and report emails off in Settings.

Google API Services user data

Uptiscan's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Search Console data is used only to show you reports and alerts about your own site. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalised AI models, and humans do not read it except where needed for security, support you request, or legal compliance.

AI features

Where enabled, Website AI receives only numbers and issue titles computed by Uptiscan about your site, not your page content, and answers your questions with them. Nothing is used to train models.

Retention and deletion

Uptime history is kept 30 days, scan results 90 days, in-app alerts 90 days and analytics aggregates up to 13 months. Removing a website deletes its data immediately. You can delete your whole account any time in Settings → Delete account, which removes your websites, history, alerts and login. Payment records may be retained where the law requires.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Service providers process data only to operate the service: hosting, email delivery, Telegram, payment processors, and the AI provider for the numbers described above.
